Vintage Teacups by gobennygo
It wasn't hugely enjoyable as my computer crashed a million times; I am wondering if I need to change to a Mac, or perhaps it is just time for an upgrade. Comparing working with bitmap to vector, my preference so far is for vector graphics. But we'll see...

I love the delicacy of this pattern. It's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Liz. It is actually a true repeating tile. Those little squiggles in the background took me forever to make work in repeat, but I've learnt a few tricks now so should be able to speed up from here!
DeleteI'd be so curious to know how you scanned them... is that what you did? I work on a Mac so I can recommend them and I have a love affair with my Wacom tablet - is that what you're using? Sorry for the many questions. I've just discovered your work and blog and think it's all so lovely. Thanks for reading.
ReplyDeleteHi Libby,
DeleteThanks so much for your comment. I just scanned the drawing on my home scanner - a cannon MG5350. I don't really like it - it is a scanner/printer/photocopier and after having an HP I find the Cannon a bit frustrating. Yes, I use a Wacom, and love it too. I can't imagine working without one - how did people ever live without Wacom tablets!!! I appreciate you taking the time to comment :)
